Reservations
How do I change or cancel a reservation?
Changing or canceling your reservation depends on the reservation you made. If you have booked via our own website and with a flexible rate, you can cancel your stay free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival date. However, this does not apply to non-refundable rates and bookings not made directly with the hotel. For the latter type of bookings, please contact the company via which you made your reservation.
When can I reach the reservations department?
The reservation department is open from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 14:00 to 19:00. The department can of course be reached outside these set times in case emergencies. You can contact us by email: welcome@badhuishotel.nl, and via telephone: +31 (0)30 2006727.
Can I indicate in advance which room I prefer?
Certainly! Before making your booking, inquire about the different room types in order to book the perfect room for your stay. Contact us via welcome@badhuishotel.nl.
Do I get an extra discount on a repeat visit?
If you book again directly via our website in the future, you will receive an extra discount of € 5 on your stay.
When does a reservation fall under a group reservation?
Your booking is considered a group when you book 4 rooms or more. Do you want to make a group reservation or do you have any questions regarding this? Please contact us via welcome@badhuishotel.nl.
Is it possible to book the whole hotel?
It is possible to book the entire hotel, 8 rooms, for a family reunion, friends stay, including private use of the lounge. Are you interested, we are happy to think along with you, mail: welcome@badhuishotel.nl or call us on: 030 200 67 27.
Is it possible to book a corporate meeting room?

What are the options for placing a baby cot
We can place a baby cot for € 15,- for the entire stay. It will be delivered including bed linen.

What are the options for an extra bed?
Unfortunately it is not possible to place extra beds in the rooms.
Payments
What payment details are required to make a reservation?
Badhuis Hotel would like to receive your credit card details in a secure environment in order to finalize your reservation. We also kindly ask you to fill in all fields on the website that relate to your payment details.
Do I have to pay a deposit for staying at the Badhuis Hotel?
When making the booking and prior to issuing the room key, Badhuis Hotel will ask you for a deposit of € 150,- to be paid via IDeal or via an authorization of your credit card as a guarantee. After the room has been inspected, the deposit will be refunded to you. In case of any damage(s) these will be deducted from the deposit. Upon larger damage(s), we will send you an invoice.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Badhuis Hotel is a cashless hotel. You can of course pay with IDeal or credit card, but unfortunately Badhuis hotel doesn’t accept cash payments.
When do I have to pay?
With a flexible booking you pay at least 48 hours in advance for your booking. In the case of a non-refundable booking, the credit card will be charged immediately.
What is city tax and when will it be charged?
The municipality of Utrecht charges 6% tourist tax for every tourist staying in Utrecht. This amount is charged by Badhuis Hotel to its guests and paid to the Municipality of Utrecht.
Can the bill also be paid by third parties?
This is possible. However, Badhuis Hotel always returns any paid deposits to the account number from which the deposit was paid. In the event of damage, this deposit amount will also be used, even if this is paid by third parties.
Arrival
How does the contactless check-in work?
You will receive a link for the “guestkey” application by email on the day of check-in. It will show you the way during your entire stay.The communication therefore runs via your smart phone. Please make sure your phone’s charged on the day of arrival.

Can I park at the hotel?

P+R and free parking
Completely free parking
You can park for free in the Willem Schuylenburglaan, located a 10-minute walk from the Badhuis Hotel, from Mon to Sun. A perfect option to save money during your stay at the Badhuis Hotel.
Parking spaces directly next to the hotel are available at an additional cost and subject to availability. The hotel can be found in parking zone A2 in Utrecht, paid parking from Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., at a rate from €5.00 per hour. A day ticket is available from €45.
P+R and free parking
Parking is free at the Utrecht Overvecht Station P+R location. This is located a 15-minute walk from the hotel or 2 stops by public transport (bus). View the parking map of the municipality of Utrecht here for more information.
Completely free parking
You can park for free in the Willem Schuylenburglaan, located a 10-minute walk from the Badhuis Hotel, from Mon to Sun. A perfect option to save money during your stay at the Badhuis Hotel.
What time can I check in?
You can check in at Badhuis Hotel from 15:00 hours onwards. If you arrive in Utrecht earlier, please contact us to see if we can facilitate an earlier check-in. In case this will not work, you can of course leave your luggage with us and enjoy all the beauty that the city has to offer.
Is it possible to check in earlier?
We understand that flexibility is important to our guests. The possibility of earlier check-in is subject to availability. Please feel free to contact us by telephone so that we can see if an earlier check-in is possible.
Can I drop off my luggage at the hotel before my check-in?
No, this is unfortunately not possible.

Can I have breakfast in Badhuis Hotel?
Restaurant Badhuis is happy to welcome you from 11 A.M. onwards (Tuesday-Sunday) and Monday from 3 P.M. but does not offer a specific breakfast menu.
In the immediate vicinity of the hotel:
- For a delicious breakfast, go to Restaurant Tijm around the corner, open from 08:30 to 21:00 (view website).
- For a fresh cup of coffee you can visit Paul's Coffee Corner, an true local experience and open from 08:00-17:30 (view website).
- Of course you can also go to the Albert Heijn opposite the hotel for breakfast to go, open on weekdays from 08:00.
- Bakkerswinkel Utrecht, opened from 09:00 - 17:00 (view website).

Until what time can I check out?
Check out is until 11:00 am. Do you want to use the room longer? Please inquire about the options for a late check-out.
Are there any age restrictions in the hotel?
Everyone is welcome, from young to old. However, Badhuis Hotel only accepts underage guests with the consent of their parents or guardian(s). Are you booking for a person under 18 years of age? Please note that you communicate and arrange this with us prior to your stay. Minor guests cannot be received in Badhuis Hotel without permission.
Can I smoke in the hotel?
Smoking is not allowed at Badhuis Hotel.
Are there facilities for disabled visitors?
The hotel offers a lift and is therefore accessible for disabled people. However, please do not hesitate to contact our reservations department for further information in this area.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Badhuis Hotel.

Until what time can I check out?
Check out is until 11 AM.
Is it possible to check out later?
Yes, it is certainly possible to check out later. The check-out time can be moved to 1:00 PM for a one-off payment of € 20,- per booked room. Please contact reception to arrange this.
Can I leave earlier than planned?
In the unlikely event that you leave earlier than expected, please let our reservations department know via welcome@badhuishotel.nl.
Is it possible to leave luggage for a few hours on the day of check-out?
There are a number of luggage lockers in the back of the lounge. These may be used at your own risk. Please do not forget to request access to the hotel by email for the collection of the luggage (welcome@badhuishotel.nl).

What are the conditions of a flexible rate?
When you make a booking based on a flexible rate you can cancel up to 24 hours before arrival time.
How come the prices for booking a room can differ?
Badhuis Hotel is happy to offer you the best prices on a daily basis, for example depending on how busy the city is.
What are the conditions of a non-refundable rate?
After making a booking at a non-refundable rate, you can no longer cancel your booking free of charge. However, you do book at the most advantageous rate!
What is meant by lowest price guarantee?
If you book directly through our website you will receive the lowest price compared to other online reservation companies.

Worry-free check-in
You can check in with the self check-in service via your mobile phone. The hotel is keyless and ready to receive you with detailed information about your stay.
The lounge
Relax here in the sitting area or at the reading / work table with a freshly brewed free cup of coffee or tea.
Spacious bathrooms with natural light
The uniquely spacious bathrooms feature a large skylight, walk-in shower and Marie-Stella-Maris products. Some rooms also have a separate bath.
